After working in Enterprise Sales for a years after graduating Cum Laude from Brandeis University with a BA in Business International Studies, I decided to begin Premier Chess in September 2017. Jay is among the most active tournament players in the US, having played over 25,000 tournament games. He started to known as the “Iron Man of Chess” in 1997 when won The New York State Championship, Manhattan Chess Club Championship, Marshall Chess Club Championship, Nassau Chess Club Championship and Queens Chess Club Championship all in the same year,1997. He is the co-author of “Active Pieces, Practical Advice from America’s Most Relentless Tournament Player”.
